Who are we?Global Insurance Consultants, Inc.is an independent, closely held insurance agency based in Miami, specializing in top-quality international health and life Insurance plans for expatriates and non-US residents, living all over the world. We are not owned, employed, or controlled by any insurance company, so we can remain totally independent and objective at all times. Currently, Global Insurance Consultants, Inc. and its sister company, Clicseguros.com, provide insurance coverage to individuals and companies in over 110 countries. We also work as strategic marketing partners with financial institutions to develop incentive-based programs linked to our insurance plans, designed for their private banking level clients.
GlobalInsuranceNet.com is the first and only interactive insurance website in English designed for the non-US resident or expat. We simplify the insurance buying process by providing real-time comparative quotes, product specifications, policy applications, and helpful consumer advice.
In addition, we maintain an active network of select insurance brokers throughout the world, to provide our clients with personal service, if they prefer it. This local presence allows us to provide our clients with a truly integrated service capability, allowing them to do as much, or as little, online as they choose.

Carlos Perez Global Insurance Consultants, Inc. is owned and managed by Carlos Perez who has an extensive track record in the international financial services industry. Since 1983, Mr. Perez has held senior level positions at prestigious financial firms such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Merrill Lynch and Shearson Lehman Brothers with a focus throughout his career on expats and foreign nationals. He obtained his first insurance license in 1984 and has been active in the international insurance and investment industry since then. He founded Global Insurance Consultants, Inc. in 1996 and has represented many of the largest insurers such as Aetna, AIG, BlueCross BlueShield, CNA, New York Life and many more. Joao Ribeiro Mr. Ribeiro, 34, is responsible for the overall technical needs of the firm, including the operation and maintenance of the websites, and the coordination of all technical requirements with the firm's strategic partners, both in the U.S. and abroad. He has many years of experience with website creation, e-commerce, and internet marketing, and is Microsoft Certified. He is a graduate of the Faculdade Candido Mendes in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. |

Juana Vazquez Ms. Vazquez, manages all customer service activities for GIC in South America, and has been with us for over 18 years. |
Lastly, GIC has a three member Advisory Board with over 80 years of valuable experience in the areas of International Health Insurance, International Life Insurance, and International Law/Foreign Trade. Our Board includes former or current executives of AIG, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, CNA, Hughes Hubbard and Reed, Liberty Mutual and the Travelers.
